Bridal & Occasion Hair Course

At our fast-track bridal and occasion hair course, you’ll learn a variety of elegant hairstyles, from classical bridal hair to stunning prom updos, in half the time of a standard course. This hands-on training allows you to create three looks of your choice, focusing on the styles and techniques you want to master most. By the end of the course, you’ll be confident in consulting with clients, prepping hair, and styling professional, long-lasting looks.

One-day experienced hairdressers:

Course times: 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Those choosing to do the experienced hairdressing bridal hair course will attend the latter of the two days available.

During our bridal hair course, not only will you learn how to prep and style hair for a bride-to-be, but you’ll also learn how to market yourself to get regular clients and build a stream of income. Here’s what to expect:

Day 1 is all about learning to prep bridal hair, this day will focus on shampooing and conditioning the hair in salon, blow drying techniques including leaving in the brushes and pin curling, dressing out the curls, product knowledge and how to take the perfect photographs. (Essential for a beginner in hairdressing)

Day 2 is where we focus on creating a selection of different bridal looks, from learning a classic up do to boho festival hair up, and then onto vintage waves.

Once you’ve successfully completed all modules of your bridal and occasion hair course, you will be offered the chance to take part in a Q&A session with our experts. This will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about bridal hair, special occasion styling, and more.

All learners receive a comprehensive kit with everything needed to succeed, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced stylist:

• Sectioning clips
• Tail comb
• Backcomb brush
• Kirby grips (blonde & brown)
• Straight pins
• Mini elastic bands
• 20″ doll head

Additional kit items for beginners attending the curly blow-dry session on day one:

• Comb

• Ceramic lightweight hair dryer with nozzle
• Ceramic round brushes x2 (32mm)

This kit not only provides a full hairdressing setup for bridal and occasion styling but also equips you for an immediate start in your new career. All styling products are supplied during training.
